Relax

07/12/2008

Day Retreat

10:00 am - 5:00 pm

Creative day workshop to reconstruct a healthier and more relaxed lifestyle. Maximize your performance in today's fast paced world.

Fulfillment can only come when we keep the big picture in focus, accept that all that is happening has a reason or purpose, and learn to relax from within. Learning to relax sounds easy and should come naturally, but as we start this journey we quickly notice that to truly relax requires information, understanding and practice. This workshop throws light on the quintessential wisdom of learning, loving and leading your destiny towards fulfillment.

EDUCATORS . . .

Are you interested in a peaceful classroom?

In teaching students who solve their problems with values?

And a class climate of respect and caring?

Not possible?

Yes, it is! Try it and see!

Living Values Education Educator Workshop

August 9 – 11, 2008

9:00 am Saturday to 1:00 pm Monday.

Note* with optional end on Sunday at 5:00 pm for those educators who are returning to school on Monday

Join us for a relaxing and inspiring two- and a half-day weekend workshop at the Anubhuti Retreat Center in Novato, California. This LVEP workshop will be led by Diane Tillman, Licensed Educational Psychologist and the primary author of the award-winning Living Values Series, Kyoko Kimura, experienced LVE teacher, and Jane McCord, Child Psychologist. Skills to create a values-based atmosphere and values activities will be explored. The workshop will also include information about LVE’s theoretical model, the breadth of the program internationally, and time for reflection, sharing, role playing, walks and play.

RESULTS: The most frequent themes noted by educators implementing Living Values Education are positive changes in teacher-student relationships and in student-student relationships both inside and outside the classroom. Educators note an increase in respect, caring, cooperation, motivation, and the ability to solve peer conflicts on the part of the students. Aggressive behaviors decline as positive social skills and respect increase. LVEP helps educators create safe, caring, values-based atmospheres for quality learning.

Solving the Riddle of Love

10/03/2008 - 10/05/2008

Weekend Retreat with Prashant Kakoday, MD

October 3-5, Friday 6:00 pm to Sunday 4:00 pm

"Do we lose love or does love lose us?
Why does love seem to come and go, rise and fall, flourish and fade?

In modern times, we are encouraged to keep going at all costs - rather than allow much needed, inner healing to take its course. Explore the powers that are the source of our well-being, powers that come from inside the self and are of long term benefit: love, happiness, forgiveness, and silence. Unconditional love opens new and unlimited horizons. Happiness helps us surmount the storms and learn life's lessons. The power of forgiveness allows us to create anew. Silence is simplicity - it creates solutions and is the way to the Divine.

In this retreat we will explore the huge benefits of learning to be kind to myself. Topics covered; The four steps to self love; Exploring what it is that blocks love; Experiencing my higher self and the Source of Love and Creating healthy boundaries. There will be sharing on the topics, conversations, writing, reflection, meditation, creative expression and lots of fun.

Facilitator: Dr. Prashant has spent the last 15 years understanding and teaching holistic principles of life, health and consciousness. He is the Director of the Center for Integral Health in Cambridge, UK
